Wine Producers from Italy’s Piemonte Region

The Piemonte region in the northwestern corner of Italy is most well known for the Barolo and Barbaresco wines, are made from the Nebbiolo grape. Other popular grapes used for red wine production are Barbera and Dolcetto. Wine made on the Barbera grape is often fruity and delicate with less tannin than wine made from the Nebbiolo grape.
